1. Booking and Reservation:
   a. Reservations can be made through our online platform or by contacting our rental service.
   b. A deposit of 100 Euro is required.

2. Payment:
   a. Payment is accepted only at the time of pick-up.
   b. Cash payment is the only accepted method.

3. Deposit:
   a. A refundable deposit of 100 Euro is mandatory for  renting bicycles.
   b. The deposit will be returned upon the return of the bicycles in the same condition as pick-up.

4. Rental Duration:
   a. The rental duration is based on a per-day basis (24H).
   b. Late returns may incur additional charges.

5. Identification:
   a. Renters must provide a valid identification document (passport, driver's license, or ID card) at the time of rental.

6. Condition of Bicycles:
   a. Renters are responsible for returning the bicycles in the same condition as received.
   b. Any damage to the bicycles will be assessed, and repair costs will be deducted from the deposit.

7. Cancellation and Refunds:
   a. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time.
   b. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time.

8. Late Returns:

a. Late returns may be subject to additional charges.

b. If the bicycles are not returned within 24 hours of the agreed-upon time, the deposit may be forfeited.

c. When the customer returns the bike before the end of the rental period, the time that was not used will not be deducted from the rental payment.

d. Except in the case of failure not attributable to the customer, sinister, theft, fire, or other causes of higher nature, when 1 hour has gone by since the estimated time to return the bike, there will be a penalty of € 2 (two euros, VAT included) per each hour late. This penalty  will be reduced from the deposit.

e. After 24 hours of not returning the rented bike, a police complaint will be made to the authorities.

9. Responsibility of the Renter:
   a. Renters are responsible for the safe and lawful operation of the bicycles.
   b. Any fines or penalties incurred during the rental period are the responsibility of the renter.

10. Maintenance and Repairs:
a. Sunny Rims will deliver the bicycles in operating order, adjusted to the specific renter's height and comfort. b. Normal wear and tear, as determined by Sunny Rims, will be covered by the rental service. c. Renters are responsible for reporting any issues with the bicycles during the rental period promptly. d. Major repairs or damages resulting from misuse, negligence, or accidents during the rental period will be the responsibility of the renter, and repair costs may be deducted from the deposit.

11. Age Restriction:
    a. One of the renters must be 16 years of age or older.

12. Liability Waiver:
    a. The rental service is not liable for any injuries or accidents that may occur during the rental period.
    b. Renters are encouraged to use protective gear, and they assume all risks associated with the use of the bicycles.

13. Agreement Acceptance:
    a. By renting our bicycles, the renter agrees to abide by these terms and conditions.

14. Governing Law:
    a. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Portugal.
